Commissions
Commission Process & Payment Terms
To begin a commissioned piece, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. An invoice will be sent via email, and work will begin once the deposit has been received.
Before starting the final artwork, you will receive a detailed sketch for approval. Minor adjustments can be requested at this stage to ensure the direction feels aligned.
Throughout the creative process, I will share several progress photos so you can follow the evolution of your piece. This allows for transparency and thoughtful collaboration while preserving the integrity of my artistic style.
Once the artwork is complete, the remaining 50% balance will be invoiced and must be paid in full before the piece is shipped.
Artwork will not be shipped until final payment has been received.
Deposits are non-refundable, as they secure your commission slot and cover time spent on planning, sketching, and initial development.
Commercial & Restaurant Commissions
For restaurants, cafes, businesses, and commercial spaces, all commissioned artwork is created as an original physical piece on canvas using oil or acrylic paint. Every design begins with real materials and goes through a full traditional painting process, from sketch to layered composition, before any reproduction is considered.
While finished works can be converted into high quality digital files for prints, menus, packaging, merchandise, or large-scale reproductions, each piece ordinates as a hand-painted artwork. This ensures depth, texture, and authenticity that cannot be replicated through purely digital design.
If digital reproduction rights are requested for branding, printing, or marketing purposes, this can be discussed and licensed separately.
INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION
International buyers are responsible for all international shipping costs, as well as any customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, VAT, brokerage fees, or additional charges required by their country. These fees are not included in the artwork price or listed shipping cost.
All customs and import charges are determined by the destination country's regulations and are collected by the carrier or local customs office upon delivery. Susupaints is not responsible for delays due to customs processing or for additional fees incurred during international shipment.
Orders will not be refunded or cancelled due to unpaid customs fees, refused deliveries, or import charges.
